Iran IP for stock trading — reach Sejam and your brokerage from abroad

A portfolio on the Tehran Stock Exchange does not travel with you. Sejam, brokerage platforms, TSETMC and Codal all refuse connections from outside Iran, so from abroad you cannot check a position, let alone place an order. A real Iranian IP puts you back in front of your own account.

Your brokerage platform

Online trading panels that timed out from abroad load and stay logged in once your session carries a domestic IP.

Sejam, TSETMC & Codal

Your Sejam profile, live market data and company filings — the whole research side of trading, not just the order screen.

Encrypted twice

Your broker's session stays HTTPS end-to-end and the VPN wraps it in another encrypted layer. We keep no logs of where you connect.

FAQ

Trading with an Iran IP — common questions

Why can't I open my brokerage account from abroad?

Iranian brokerage platforms and the Sejam portal restrict access to domestic IP ranges. The check happens before the login form, so from abroad the page times out or shows an access-denied message no matter how correct your credentials are. An Iranian IP removes that barrier.

Does an Iran IP work with the Sejam portal?

Yes for the IP restriction — sejam.ir and the brokerage sites that check your Sejam status load normally with an Iranian IP. Completing a brand-new Sejam registration is a separate matter, because identity verification requires an Iranian mobile number and, depending on the method offered, either a video call or a visit to an authorised office.

Will TSETMC and Codal open too?

Yes. Market data on TSETMC and company filings on Codal are among the sites that intermittently refuse foreign connections. With an Iranian IP they behave exactly as they do inside Iran.

Do I still need my Iranian mobile number to trade?

In most cases yes. Brokerages send one-time passwords by SMS to the number registered in your Sejam profile, and SMS travels over the mobile network rather than the internet, so a VPN cannot deliver it. Keep that SIM active through roaming or a dual-SIM phone.

Is trading over a VPN safe for my account?

The connection itself is safer, not riskier: your broker's session is already HTTPS and the VPN adds a second encrypted layer between your device and our servers. We keep no logs of the sites you visit — see the Privacy Policy. Your broker's own terms about where you may log in from still apply — that is between you and them.
