Sahame Edalat and Sejam from abroad — with an Iran IP

Sahame Edalat — Justice Shares — belongs to millions of Iranians who never thought of themselves as shareholders. The annual dividend lands, the portfolio value moves, and all of the information sits behind systems that only open from inside Iran: the Sahame Edalat portal, the Sejam registry, and the Central Securities Depository's systems.

From abroad, those systems either fail to load or hang indefinitely. Nothing tells you what is wrong. Your request was refused because of a foreign IP, before it ever reached a sign-in page.

Sejam, identity verification and Sahame Edalat — the difference

These three names get confused constantly:

• Sejam is the comprehensive shareholder registration system — your identity and banking profile in the capital market. Everything in the bourse hangs off it.
• Sejam identity verification is the step that confirms who you are. It was historically done in person; remote methods were added later. The requirements change.
• Sahame Edalat is the asset itself — shares the state distributed. You view and manage it through the Sahame Edalat portal, and receiving the dividend depends on the IBAN registered in Sejam.

What opens with an Iran IP

Route through a real Iranian IP address and you get:

• The Sahame Edalat portal — portfolio, current value and dividend status.
• Sejam — your profile, banking details and verification status.
• Central Securities Depository systems for certificates and reports.
• The bank account the dividend lands in — see the Bank Melli and other bank guides.

Step by step

1. Install Iran IP VPN on Windows, Mac, Android or iPhone. A desktop browser is usually easier for these portals.
2. Sign in with Google or Apple — the free tier activates immediately.
3. Connect, then open the portal in your browser.
4. If you had the page open before connecting, hard-refresh it (Ctrl+Shift+R, or Cmd+Shift+R on Mac).
5. Sign in. The verification code goes by SMS to the Iranian number tied to your national ID.

These systems are slow and unstable even inside Iran, especially around dividend payment dates. If one attempt fails, try again a few hours later.

What an IP does not fix

• An Iranian mobile number in your own name. The verification code goes to the number tied to your national ID, and SMS travels over the mobile network, not the internet.
• Sejam identity verification. If you are not verified yet, an Iran IP only opens the pages. From abroad the practical route is usually through an Iranian consulate or a power of attorney — and the requirements change often, so ask the system itself what the current procedure is.
• An invalid or outdated IBAN. If the dividend is not arriving, the problem is usually the IBAN registered in Sejam rather than your access.
• Selling Sahame Edalat. The rules and methods are set by the relevant authorities and have changed over time. A VPN gives you access, not permission.
